One of our TAV programs kicked off in January of 2006 at Aliso and Wood County Wilderness Park (AWCWP). The program is designed to help all Park users with information, directions, water, food, emergency repairs and first aid. We are not out there to enforce the rules. Our role is to remind people of the rules and why the rules are there. Let them know that using this Park is a privilege that we all want to continue to enjoy.
If you are at all interested in participating in this program and would like to get more information please attend the July meeting. We will be serving dinner and Angeline D. Santiago the Volunteer Services Coordinator for County of Orange, Orange County Parks will be there to talk about the program and answer any questions you may have.
